One doesn't grant them. The other grants them every time. The one who grants them all the time is: Marjorie Slabach. This was told to me by a lawyer who works in the restraining order clinic. Marjorie Slabach does not listen. She jumps to conclusions. She does not consider evidence. She appears biased against women. She uses restraining orders as punishment. This is wrong application of law. Restraining orders should be to protect, not punish. She let a man who had obviously been violent get a restraining order against his woman for harassment. She didn't care how much violence there had been. If that man kills the woman - who is to blame? |
