You are in control of how you will perceive and respond to your day's events and the people that make them up. And you can make that choice before you even begin your day! It will be helpful for you to create a time at the beginning of your day when your conscious mind awakens to your outer world to get yourself connected to your inner self, your soul or whatever you choose to name it. As soon as you open your eyes in the morning or have your first cup of coffee, your conscious mind begins connecting to the visible world. Take a few moments to just sit, relax and breathe. Take this time to "mentally walk through your day." This is the time to use your conscious thinking to "make up your mind" about how you will experience your day. For the most part, you already know how, when and where you will be traveling; you know what's on the day's calendar of events and you generally know with whom you will be encountering and what task you will be accomplishing. "Make up your mind" about how you will be experiencing your day. How will you emotionally approach each of these tasks?...
