From: GB on 13 Jun 2008 13:48 I know that someone was experimenting (on dogs) with magnets embedded in the air passages. The idea was to embed magnets in the airways with like poles opposite each other, so they repel each other and keep the airway open. Does anybody know if that has progressed at all?
From: KB on 25 Jun 2008 22:58 Wow, that's pretty cool. The only question, I would have is what would happen if you breathe in something where you would want to close your air pipe like a fly or so. Does that mean that you have a constant open airway and you can close it or even swallow?
