From: MBV on 4 Oct 2005 10:38 Hey there Girl, Congratulations!!! This cigarette stopping is one day at a time thing.... Sometimes one minute at a time thing. Congrats on going as far as you have. The first few days are the hardest and not killing everyone around you is even harder still. This must be the right time for you!!! I can remember an old boss begging me to start up again saying "Sometimes it may be better to live a shorter life with some friends than to live smoke free with no friends." That was how bad I was at one time I tried to stop!!! Great to hear your doctors are treating you correctly and you have also reminded me that it is very important to stay regular too. That has been a life long problem for me and I can see it can lead to life long problems too. I really never thought about it. Anyway, take care and be good to YOU. Maureen
From: Squirrely on 4 Oct 2005 15:47 Good news on alot of the results. Glad for you. Now just take care and do what you are suppose to to keep well. I can help you lose weight. Get what I have, it does wonders for losing weight. I weighed 222 when I got this a week and a half, to two weeks ago. I think it was a week - week and a half ago I started dropping the weight. I am down to 211. The only problem with that is when I am able to eat again, it will come back on. Still sick to tummy and ibs stuff not wanted to let me eat. So just picking at things to eat. You take care. Still have you and Deff in my prayers and thoughts. Will have always. -- Love and hugs to all Good thoughts coming your way too.
