It is clear from all the tentative posts from many former "old
regulars" that there is a clear desire for a resurgence of that which
once was.

All that is required to 'revive' MFW, is for people to post with an
open mind and to forget events of the past, either real or imagined,
and get on and enjoy what could and should be a very amusing and
knowledgeable forum.

However, it is clear that hostility will only be met with hostility,
and it is equally clear that all attempts at exclusion, including
calls to "killfile" people, will only breed hostility.

It's as simple as that really. I for one would really enjoy seeing the
Group getting back to doing what it did best, which for me used to be
informing and entertaining people. I enjoy lively banter and sharp
repartee with the best of them, but you will be aware that I don't
like bullies and will resist them with some vigour.

It is apparent that we are perhaps on the brink of a new beginning -
let's make it so!

Have a great weekend lads and lasses - you know I intend to!! ;o)

Dunno Charles - I would like to let bygones be bygones, new start and all
that. But Lee Michaels, around 2 years ago called me something not very
nice. The fact is (and it can be googled) he called me a "nimkompoop" - A
person doesnt forget a slur like that easily. And Dally, not long after
that, called me a 'meanyhead'. That was after I suggested that she was not a
"real" athlete. So I think it is too late for me. I can't easily forget
things like that.

It'll never happen. You can never go back.

Only one thing to do Om under the circumstances - take a sickie on Monday -
you had prawns on Sunday (probably from Australia) and . . . . . . .
You get sick days right?
