From: Pam on 30 Jun 2008 08:20 Goodmorning, I am a month and two weeks into treatment, I am waiting on the other shoe to drop so to say. i have had mild side effects so far. I take my shots on Monday night and go to bed. So far I have had some restless nights and after I eat I have to take a trip to the bathroom.. The heat seems to bother me, I have alot of hot flashes, but this may be due to my age as well, I am 47 so it may be the change of life. Hope everyone is doing good. Pam

I'm interested in your "change of life" comment because I'm pretty sure that treatment triggered menopause in me at about your age. No biggie, it's a normal part of life, but I'm wondering if the peg/riba has some kind of hormonal side-effect. If anyone else has any links or info or even thoughts on this, please share.

I hope you do have mild sides throughout your tx and you kill the dragon. Dwight

I think the meds 'rushed' me through it, the hot flashes went away and never did come back. (no complaints here!) Sara |
