Wow, I made the Top 500!

Wait a minute...Top 500 out of how many exactly? 505? 5000? 5,000,000?

It might be helpful if you could give my approximate percentile ranking.

Aw shucks, you say the nicest things.

I'm "connected" to Quackwatch how exactly?

Oooh, don't tell me. I bet this is a linking game akin to "Six Degrees
of Kevin Bacon", isn't it?

OK. Let me start:

1. The first pop concert I ever saw featured 1960's pop star Bobbie Vinton.

2. Bobby Vinton visited with Pope John Paul II.

3. Pope John Paul met with Fidel Castro.

4. Fidel Castro.....

Why thank you, Mark. Aren't you sweet? (Psst: your payment will be in
your "special checking" account by the close of banking on Monday EDST.)

Comparing me to Nancy, whom I have only the highest respect for, is
true praise. Coming from you, it is even higher than you think.

==========================
FACT, Nancy Knisley is a lot like you.

Holey underwear! How did you find out about the *GANG* (TING)?!! The
*GANG* (TING) is supposed to be super secret!

[OK. Now who blabbed? I swear, sometimes it seems like there are more
leaks in the *GANG* (TING) than in the White House.

When I find out who blabbed about the super secret *GANG* (TINSSG), it
won't be pretty. You *will* be drummed out of the *GANG* (TING) at the
humiliating official *GANG* drumming out ceremony (TINHOGDOC).

At said drumming out:

- You will be stripped of your official *GANG* colors (TINOGC), which
then will be grilled to a crisp on the official *GANG* hibachi. (TINOGH).

- Your official gang membership card (TINOGMC) will be shredded in the
official *GANG* crosscut shredder (TINOGCS).

- Your official *GANG* secret decoder ring will be removed and smashed
to smithereens with the official *GANG* left-over holiday fruitcake.
(TINOGLHF).

- Your official *GANG* tattoo (TINOGT) will be removed with the official
*GANG* laser. (TINOGL).

And, now, I supposed we're going to have to change the super secret
*GANG* password (TINSSGP) and the super secret *GANG* handshake
(TINSSGH). ]

That makes two of us! At last, we can agree on something. I'd feel awful
if I were in the low end of the caliber curve where you are. Must be
depressing. :-(

But, cheer up. There's good news. With years of study, intensive courses
in critical thinking and logic, extensive social skills training,
remedial work in reading comprehension, a heavy dose of character
education, and maybe some good therapy, perhaps you might be able to
move up a few standard deviations on the caliber curve. Still won't move
you into the upper ranges, but any improvement is better than none.

Nancy

Unique, like everyone else

Wow. I'm loving this love! I should come here more often.

I've always kinda regretted that I never made the RagTag Posse list. It
even listed Jan and Ilena, for gosh sakes.

Oh, well, I guess we're both on another very exclusive list, one that
includes at least another 498 individuals.

Um, she's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's
girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the
girl who saw Ilena pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's
pretty serious.
