Dear Member,

My name is Maria G. Aguirre and I am a doctoral candidate in
Counseling Psychology at Auburn University. I am writing to you to
request your assistance with my dissertation research investigating
factors that facilitate coping with bereavement, with specific
attention to meaning-making.

My research has been approved by both my dissertation committee and
Auburn University's Institutional Review Board. The study is being
hosted online and I am currently seeking individuals coping with
bereavement to participate in myresearch. You are eligible to
participate in this study if you are 19 or over and have lost a close
family member or friend within the last 12 to 48 months due to natural
causes, illness, accidental death, violence, or suicide.

Participating in this study will involve providing demographic
information and responding to survey questions about your experience
of coping with bereavement.
Total time for completing this study is not expected to exceed 25
minutes.
