Hello:

I have CP and I can walk, but I have tendonits in an anke and it hurts
to stand still even for a moment. In the past I used a E&J chair for
the mall and places that require a lot of walking. I used my legs to
propel the chair. With the E&J I could pop it up over threshholds and
the like. About three yrs ago I donnated the E&J and got an
Invacate. The thing will not pop up. Even a pusher cannot tilt me
up. Needless to say, my quality of life has suffered. I have moved
the axel back, no help.

Does anybody have a solution?

You might be better moving the axle forward closer to your centre of
gravity point, it will make the chair easier to tip, but that's what
your looking for, both for yourself lifting the front over thresholds
and your pusher tilting the chair back.
