From: Deano on 27 Jun 2008 06:16 I need some input on what I may expect in regards to recovery time for some surgeries that I have to undergo. My current ileo needs a "revision" and the rectal stump that I still have has to be removed as it still has severe inflammation. There is also a severe hernia to deal with. I am told that this may require two separate procedures. I'm nervous, and more scared about this than any other procedure I have had in the past. Can I get some input? Thanks. ;-Deano

Thanks. ;-Deano It would be extremely hard for anybody to tell you what you need as each procedure and how a person takes it is different. With that statement, no surgery is easy. However, I can understand your anxiety as I have the same problem and am facing removal of my rectal stump for the same reason. Personally, to me its facing the inability of any type of reversal. This feeling is totally psychological and with that, I feel it can be controlled. I wish I had more time but I have to leave for work. I hope everything comes out <sigh> OK. |
