From: MindfulMan on 31 Aug 2008 05:38 One question, do you all get indigestion in the middle of the night around 1-3 A.M.?
From: MindfulMan on 1 Sep 2008 12:29 lol How many calories per day do you all eat? Anyone wanna help me out? Thank you.

I don't get "indigestion"...that implies a bit of nausea, and I never get that. But then, as far as "hunger" goes, we've already discussed how far off my calibration is... ....I eat large meals - particularly dinner; beef or pork and veggies/rice for dinner, generally turkey sandwiches on hearty breads for lunch. Eggs and bacon for breakfast, with coffee and toast. I'm fortunate that I can eat just about anything I care for, and I like rich foods...so LOTS of calories for me. And I still am only 5'10' and ~170lbs. Got up as far as 180lbs once - where I would really like to stay - but going back to my two-meal/day habit dropped some pounds back off me...I really need to eat three meals/day...danggit. I avoid acidic foods, like citrus and tomatoes...so no red Italian sauces, and that is of course what I miss the most. But by and large, I'll intake full solid meals but by the clock v.s. as driven by "hunger". I could starve myself for days if I neglected to cook just because I was feeling droopy and also didn't "feel hungry"...and have done so on occasion. Something else I've recently correlated - I have more energy when I have diarrhea. I've been more regular for the past three weeks, and very run down for the same amount of time - way more than usual. Previously I had been a bit diuretic but a bit more peppy...I haven't figured out which gives rise to which, but I'm gonna watch myself and see how I fare... -- - Rufus
From: MindfulMan on 3 Sep 2008 23:09 Stupid question lol...but how well do you swallow water, drinks, and food? I'm thinking the suction effect that occurs when swallowing has a large part in this.
From: MindfulMan on 3 Sep 2008 23:13 And the lack of this effect at night when we get a dry mouth and don't swallow often is probably important.
