From: kilikini on 7 Oct 2008 11:46 Just wanted to ask.... Remember when you were a teenager and being "in love" was so important? Now that we're "of age" all you want is a do-able companion. Someone to talk to, someone you can comiserate to, someone you can take care of. I don't know how teenagers manage with their drama. kili -- ========== Please DELETE this text block when replying! ========== Contact the moderators at: asapm-board(a)stump.algebra.com The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm ========= This notice is added to each approved article ==========

Different things are important when you grow out of your teenager years. I enjoyed my teenage years when having a new boyfriend was exciting. But I was married at 18, so didn't have a lot of years to experience teenage love with different guys. I never had a boyfriend as a teenager but did have a crush on a few different boys. I was quite agoraphobic during those years so love wasn't a huge priority for me. Hubby and I will be celebratating 20 years marriage next February and am still very much "in love" as well as enjoying the friendship/companionship part of the relationship. One thing that seems worse for teenagers today is body image issues. It was around when I was a teenager but not to the extent I see it now. Teenagers getting boob and nose jobs.
