From: stanw on 28 Jul 2008 16:52 The following piece is inspired by those bemoaned by Carly Simon, but who won't humble themselves to see what's right in their own mirrors! ;) --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Boor's Bemused Babble Perched upon the backs of those who foolishly defer brag lesser men and greater fools with feigned grace so demure. The silence given up and borne for simple courtesy is wasted on such sycophantic smarm who cannot see the simbiotic gesture that compels, among those civil, the sweet, melodic tone of space - and rest of ego's drivel. Take solace in the knowing of the music they can't hear. For lack of air their very minds have lost such vital ear. Breathe deep the whispered wisdom rendered mute to brute and boor. Cacophony's accompinament has tragic bliss in store. And we will know that soon enough, the dullard's words run dry - compelling sighs of sheer relief from all those who are nigh. Then, with a nod of heretofore feigned deference, we'll turn to perch on OUR new pedestal and smirk "someday, you'll learn!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hee hee. Bye for now, folks. -stan |
