From: Janey Pooh on 9 Oct 2005 09:50 I haven't had an oven since May. My oven crapped out and we couldn't afford to get it fixed, so I've (we've) been cooking on the stovetop, microwave and/or barbeque for the past five months or more. It's been a challenge (understatement). Clancy's boss's wife takes me to exercise class. It's really just her, her sister, me and the teacher every week. We're trying to find more people who want to come. Wanna come? LOL Anyway, she picks me up and drops me off and when she was dropping me off on Friday she asked me if I was gonna cook a Turkey for thanksgiving. I told her we don't have an oven and it's hard to cook a turkey in the barbeque - doable, but harder. Wellllll, she said she'd have to have a talk with her hubby about getting me an oven - and lo and behold, there was an oven in my backyard that afternoon. ROFL the boss came up to Clancy and said, "Hear y'er havin' oven troubles? I got three in the shed out behind the shop. Let's go get one." I HAVE AN OVEN!!!!!!!! THEN . . . he pulled out a $100 bill from his wallet and gave it to Clancy and said, "Buy y'er wife a turkey." There's Changes A Comin'!! ROFLMAO I think I'm gonna teach Dylan how to make Pumpkin Pie this afternoon. ;o) Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends. I am thankful that I'm alive, that I have two men who care deeply for me - my hubby and my son, that I have so many good friends here at AMF, that I'm starting to get my sense of HA HA! back again - and That I Have An Oven!!! Take GOOD Care everyone. Love Jane
