Hi,

For the past 8 weeks I've had strange problems which are attacks but am
not sure, and the docs aren't sure, what is happening.

This is what happens:

1. I start getting very cold, especially in my legs.
2. My stomach rumbles and I feel a bit nauseous.
3. I start getting weak and shakey.
4. I feel like I'm having internal tremors, and also I'm a bit tremory
on the outside.
5. Lots of muscle twitches (fasciculations)

The first time it happened right after drinking 3 glasses of a
barium/nutrasweet drink for a CT scan. I got so weak and shakey they
took me down to the emergency room and I was there for 5 hours....I
finally felt better but it was horrible....they didn't know what it
was.

This morning here at work, It happened again but not as bad...I got
cold, my stomach was rumbling, then I got weak and shaky. I ate an
apple and after awhile I felt a bit better but I'm still weak, a bit
tremory, eyesight a bit off. I don't know if the apple helped or I'm
just not having as bad a reaction as the first time.

Does any of this sound like some kind of hypoglycemic attack? I didn't
eat this morning before I had the reaction nor did I eat the morning of
that scan. Sometimes I get this cold, shakey, weak feeling at random
times but this morning was very annoying.

I also have Hashimotos Thyridosis, so maybe that has something to do
with it.

Thanks for any help!

James.
