"Coping With Kidney Disease--A 12 Step Program to Help You Avoid Dialysis" by Mackenzie Walser, M.D. (kidney specialist) Those people at the diabetes newsgroup might be able to tell you about other books that could help you. Eat lots of almonds (for protein) or buy protein powder that has a very low sodium (salt) content such as Mixed Berry Rice Protein. After you do that, measure your blood pressure during the last two days of the week to see if the experiment was a success or failure. You should also visit a health food store and buy a bottle of Mineral Capsules. You should also ask these questions to your doctor.
