Agreed about your "aside"...that is why I wanted to run this by you
guys. I was taking a shot in the dark to see if there were any oral
surgeon/oral medicine posters in the group. I know my colleague will
likely not see anything, and when I go to my PCP with this random
symptom, she'll probably throw me on an antibiotic to be conservative.
