Yes, one should always be aware of changes.

Anyone with cholesterol high enough to require a statin should watch a
myriad of things, not so much because of statins, but that cholesterol is an
indicator, not a disease or natural problem.

It is extremely rare that any doctor will monitor anything other than liver
/ kidney condition when prescribing a prescription statin, and that possibly
twice a YEAR..

That's true. One of the major mistakes that doctors make in regard to
statins is to prescribe a higher dose than is needed. For example, Lipitor
(Atorvastatin) comes in a 5 mg dose and a 80 mg dose. The 5 mg dose is
much safer than the 80 mg dose and is much less likely to cause side
effects than the 80 mg dose. However, some doctors would prescribe the 80
mg dose instead of the 5 mg dose.
Doctor Cohen stated in his book that he always starts his patients on the
lowest dose of medications. He would only prescribe a higher dose if the
lower dose was not having the desired effect.

Actually, the word "Nazi" was short for "Nationalsozialistische"
(National Socialist) which was the official name of the so-called Nazi
party. So every Nazi in history has been, in that sense, "socialist".

What is somewhat ironic is that the flagship "communist" country called
itself the "Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik" (Union of
Socialist Council Republics). Thus, while the Nazis and the Communists
considered themselves to be at opposite ends of the political spectrum,
they both called themselves "socialists".

Of course, both Nazi Germany and the USSR were dictatorships, both had
secret police, and both imprisoned, tortured, and killed those who
disagreed with the party line, so perhaps the shared name is appropriate!
