I just talked to a friend who was an IV drug user and is HepC negative
I ran into a friend I had not seen in 25 years. HepC came up because he had heard I had it (lots of our friends do). His ex-wife also has it. He said he had tried IV drugs a few times back in early 80s, but only a few times. I told him that if he has shared IV drugs then the chance he was infected is about 10... 24 Jul 2008 22:10

My mother-in-law had hepatitis C. She underwent 5 months of treatment in 2005 and one test later showed that she was HCV-. "Toxic granulation seen"---per my most recent blood test
I'd be curious to know often this is seen in patients on hep c treatment (and of course what the significance is)--the reason I was on Norco and am now on OxyContin was because of the muscle/joint/ connective tissue pain which is certainly associated with inflamation-- my hands and knees, for example, often become ... 15 Jul 2008 22:38
