Hello,

I have been attempting to contact you for the last 9 months about the
Forgiven drama broadcast on ITV last year.

The drama was in my view a continuation of a six year hate campaign
waged against me by a number of television and advertising companies
in London.

This started in 2002 with Cake Group and their Hula Hoops three comedy
adverts featuring a loser called Steve. This continued in 2003 with a
Publicis reworking of the same ad.

During this time I attempted to contact the BBC, especially Radio 5
about this and was politely ignored by everyone except Johnny Vaughn
who broadcast 'Steve you nutter' live on his show continually.

There are many other instances of this ongoing joke about Steve in the
last six years as well, including MC Steve the worlds worst MC on the
Richard & Judy show. Just to correct this, I was not the MC, I was a
DJ and my MC was a Mr Chris Jarman who has appeared in Royal
Shakespeare Company productions and the West End hit, The Lion King as
well as television shows like Grange Hill and just recently, The Bill.

However, in 2006 upon moving to my second flat in Kilburn, I was used
to advertise another Unilever product, this time Fairy Liquid. The
resemblance to the inside and outside of my flat is astonishing.

Next in 2007, The Times rang a feature on an Edinburgh festival play
called Special by a company called Fecund. Again, another Steve but
The Times feature had the actor wearing my clothes and my haircut. The
Emily name was used by me to denote Emma Lyons, a woman I went to
school with. It was also a composition of mine which may have been
overheard by a local.

In late 2007 I was poisoned somehow. At around the same time, The
Peter Serafinowicz Show had a joke about Zero TV and Steve from Big
Brother. Along with this, the ITV aired a Betty television drama about
Steve a pedophile who molests his own child. I suspect that was my
next door neighbour being used.

In 2008 you are still broadcasting hateful little adverts, including a
118.com advert again featuring references to the Moody DJ cartoon of
Select magazine, 1994-1996. The advert suggests someone gets poisoned
with a light bulb. The advert quotes something I said in the
uk.people.support.depression newsgroup chatroom.

Go to the Nicorette site and you will find another Steve.

Steve is me.

There is actually much more hateful little bile then this. You are
making me wretch hurtfully now, and are damaging my quality of life
very seriously, especially with your silence on the issue.

Regards

Stephen Gates <stephenpgates(a)hushmail.com>

You're not prone to paranoia are you? ;) "Knock off Tim" would have me
looking at everyone very suspiciously.
