What to do if my endoscopy finds a hernia or GERD? Having my endoscopy this Monday in Japan, i live in Tokyo. If they find a hernia, what is the next stage? Is it definitely surgery? 'Self-Medicating' ?? I use Blood Pressure medication. Do you have to have heartburn to have Acid reflux My throat has been giving me problems for the last seven weeks. On and off. If it was Acid reflux, would I definitely have had heartburn?
