From: Info on 21 Feb 2010 19:11 My nasal passages are clogged horribly. I've been sucking on as sugar-free menthol drop as I go to bed. Do any of my sleep-disorder friends have any have with this? And, for my other toothsome friends, do think that lozenge will hurt my teeth or gums? I only use 3 or 4, at the most, a day. Thanks.

I only use 3 or 4, at the most, a day. Thanks. Sugar free things shouldn't hurt your teeth or gums but depending on the sweetener used, they could have a laxative effect. You might try a Neti pot. It's a device for putting warm salt water in your sinuses to clean things out.

It seemed to help.

A "serving" of one lozenge is listed as having "zero" grams of sugar, and "zero" carbs" yet each drop has 5 calories of SOMETHING. As usual, do everything in moderation, and you should be fine.
