I only found out when I suffered from bells palsy that the doctor seems to think I contracted it through a tick bite is that even possible I guess I am seraching for clarity and second opinion

Any doc who'd suggest that is not one that should be diagnosing or treating herpes. For more good information about herpes, you might want to take a look at the free herpes handbook at the Westover Heights Clinic's web site. http://www.westoverheights.com/genital_herpes/handbook.html Good luck.
