From: nora on 14 Mar 2008 17:39 We have many gf wodka brands here in Scandinavia. Some may be available near you. I do react to distilled alcohol from grain, too, but officially all distilled alcohol or vinegar is safe.....(check the official gf lists at celiac.com ) nora
From: Janice on 16 Mar 2008 13:13 If only pure alcohol is the result of distillation all liquor would taste the same. Almost everybody reports reacting to the "alcohol". People need to learn about distillations, as applied in the drinking world, and realize somebody is lying about this. From: Shelley on 19 Mar 2008 05:35 This is made from potatoes, not grain, making it truly gluten-free... but only available in limited areas in the US. There are many potato vodkas available in Europe though that you might enjoy without suffering grain reactions. Atkins (diet) states Vodka is OK for carbohydrate free diets, unlike many other alcohols. Vodka may have different processing techniques.
