Instead of complaining to the people on this newsgroup, who do not have the
ability to do anything about what you are complaining about, why don't you
e-mail your representatives in your State and in Washington.

Below are a few URLs that will help you find the e-mail addresses of your
representatives.

State Governors

I usually talk tothe aides since they are too busy for my tripe.

The problem is one voice is not enoigh. The idea is to get a lot of
people aware there is a problem. It may be a case of presenting
problem from the patients side. The "professionals do their job well.
Patients are like lambs Humans will take all they can get.

Years ago a congressman told "us" in a group "we get elected
b curing problems, not by preventing them".

Ithink we do have a problem. With many sides.

As Grandma used to say." Anyone gets the big head if not controlled".

You wanna know why DFTT is a good strategy? Go look at
alt.support.diabetes aka The % Show, and think - can he reduce this
group to the same level? and the answer is yes, easily

Not criticising, and DAMN! he is good at getting attention, so I'm out
of this and all similar threads . . .

Years ago I had to deal with a cousin that was damaged during
infantile surgery. This was in the chloroform days.

I saw his up and downs and the agony he suffered when he had
lucid moments.

He finally killed himself in his 50's leaving a trail of
disasters and problems for others.

I never learn and still have too much compassion for
damaged people. I always fail. Sorry I opened a can
of worms.

I do know about some abnormalities of others but it is not
proper to post these here.

we either work around problems or elect to drop the group.

I still have hope but I am a damn fool.
