I got the new Ultra Mirage mask, though I had asked for the old model. The positive is that it has clips in addition to velcro, so you can remove the straps without messing up the adjustments. The negative is that it has no velcro snap at the back for an easy release. Don't know why they didn't put that in. It takes a little getting used to if you wake in the night and want to remove the mask and then put it on again, and you have to fumble with the clips. It's a more complicated gadget than the old Resmed mask, but functionally not bad. It's similar to the Respironics mask but seems a bit better quality. DB

For "night trips", I detach the hose... -- -- David Ruether
