We have Tuesday off for Canada Day, so I booked Monday off to make it four
days in a row. I will have one less day off in the bank, but it was too
tempting:), and oly in September for Labour Day could I next combine a
longer weekend. Might as wll take summer days while Ican, it will be too soon
gone.

Had problems sleeping lng enough the alstw eek, and I count on resting and
sleeping some of the weekd away. But hopefully, not all of it!:)


Already changed the bird cages and fed birds, and am getting sleepy. So a
nice nap is soon to be:).
Other than that, the weather being rain and smog at the sme time (sic) BIT
not too hot, (yay!!) so far, I will be cleanign downstairs (BADLY needs
it!!), ad then maybe sort my room so I coudl use it, Have not done that on
holidays.

This is just too perfect a day for sleeping!:)
Will go wath tv to try and fall asleep, wile cathing up on news.

Took a second apointment at vet's for Squeaks, my budgie wit the swelling
belly. So far it seems better in that she did not swell up like the last
time: when it does sweel-up a bit, after a point it �leaks� out....But
that means that some liquidstill is forming somwhere that shoudl not be
there, if at least it also means she would not die crushed by the pressure
of the liquid trapped inside her belly...

I hope the vet says it s good news andhas some other treatment to try
that will work. Her spirits are quite good, she moves more than before,
sees better a bit too (was blind, but on some days sees a bit better it
seems), and even spent time on her swing this week. She now songs each
time she hears me around, like when I just went down to make myself a cu
of coffee, which emans she got to like me more rather than fear e tod eah
after needles were inserted in her tiny belly to remove 20g of liquid
(sic:() that was squishing her lungs and organs by then.
Hopefully, she does not happen to swell up before the vet apointment....


Gonna playb a game of cards online to quiet the body down, and then go
watch news and fall asleep for a nice nap:)
