Hi, new poster here. Some background... my 4 year old son has had eczema since he was a few weeks old, mainly on his knees and legs. He also now has asthma. He was breastfed but had some formula in hospital on day 2, due to my (mistaken) belief that he wasn't getting anything from the breast. My 1yo is also br... 27 Feb 2006 13:25
Do Rolled Oats really contain wheat?
Hi, I've just joined this group because I have made a strange discovery and want to know what others think of it. I bought a packet of rolled oats from the supermarket to make some wheat-free biscuits, made the biscuits, ate a few, and then noticed it said on the packet "allergy advice - contains wheat gluten". I ... 28 Feb 2006 20:15

Gluten, yeast, lactose and fructose sensitivities.
Hi, just wondering if anyone else also suffers from these kinds of sensitivities to foods and if and how they have managed to stick to any recommended diets. Peppers / Capsicum
A few years ago I searched on the Internet for information on allergy/intolerance of peppers and turned up some references that mentioned some acid content that caused problems of digestion, and listed some other food items that contained such acids. All I can find now are marvellous cures based on peppers! Po... 7 Oct 2005 20:21
