We (doctor and I) have decided to not go through with the shots in the right
knee as it doesn't bother me that much. They are scheduling a second
opinion for my left knee. We'll see what happens on that. As to the knee
cap, there is an opinion that if the knee cap is damaged badly enough
(apparently my situation), a replacement won't work well and the pain will
still be there. That's the reason for the second opinion.

Thanks for explaining it to me. You know, since your right knee isn't
bothering you that much, you may have had more pain after the injections.
