GAH~ That is the ONLY reason (local "rules") to disqualify a donor with RA or any other form of arthritis, since the FDA dropped arthritis from its ineligible list in the late 90's. In 1999, I had read about the annual football team's blood drive, with souvenier T-shirts, so I logged onto the blood bank's web to see what had changed since being disqualified in 1984. Lo and behold, no form of arthritis was on the list of reasons to turn down a prospective donor. This particular annual event has become so popular that what was once a 60 to 90 minute wait/procedure was a 3-hour wait in 2007. .... 75% of statisticians are 90% confident 52% of the time. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12
