From: Roger Smith on 11 Jul 2008 09:38 Hi people. Just some background, 6 years ago I was systematically tortured (and even that word is a difficult thing to write or say) for something which was really my fault. Essentially, I tried to con/blag some drug dealers (just for adrenaline, as I was still working at the time, and didn't need the money) and myself and my 'friend' who knew the right (wrong) contacts were made an example of. Since then, my alcohol consumption spiraled out of control to the point where I have to stop now, or I'm dead. I'm lucky enough to have a 4 day/week support program for addiction, and am seeing someone once a week for this 6 year old problem. It was suggested that I might have PTSD, and after reading about the symptoms for the first time, my jaw dropped - like looking in a mirror if you know what I mean. Anyway, my question is that I was told that the book "the invisible injury" by "david kinchin" (which has been recommended to me), may be available online at no charge?? If correct, please let me know the URL. Best wishes all
