From: Gail_the couch_Grimes on 3 Jan 2006 14:24 FAT People in the Star Wars Universe I've always wondered about this. Why does the Fat guy always get killed in Star Wars? I can think of some offhand 1. Perkins (fat X-wing pilot). He is blown out of the sky above the Death Star I in Episode IV. Plus doesn't his name remind you of Pork (Perkins/Porkings) which comes from a Pig and aren't Pigs supposed to be Fat? 2. Unknown Fat Naboo Pilot- He is in the movie for literally a second and in that one second he is incinerated by a Trade Federation turret aboard the Core Ship during Episode I. 3a. Jabba the Hut- Definitely the fattest thing in the galaxy. He's strangled by Leia before he's gibbed (blown up into giblets of bloody flesh and fat) by the Rebel Heroes. 3b. The original Jabba the Hut - One of the Episode IV re-releases. Played by a fat man. 4. Jabba the Hut palace guard- From Episode VI played by fat actors dressed as Pig- beings. Eaten by Rancor monster while squealing like a stuck pig. Honourable Mention: Rancor Trainer/Prison Torturer from Episode VI - Played by a Fat man (shirtless). Let this be a memorial for all the brave fat things in the galaxy who have risked never eating a Galactic Twinkie again in order to make a stand against oppression.
