I gather that you're trying to rewrite the history of the late
Judah Folkman?

Not a good bet. Think about it -- what are the models for
happiness in common understanding?

Fill in the blank: "Happy as a __________"

I'm guessing that the example wasn't noted for brilliance.

What attacks? You don't have to support "widespread,"
just one will do.

No no, YOU go ahead and do your own research
and read about the WARM RECEPTION (NOT!!)
that he got until he finally just ATE the damn bacteria
and then demonstrated that he had (DRUM ROLL...SURPRISE!!)
Pyloric Ulcers. THAT finally shut up the "stress" crowd
for whom ANY deviation from accepted medical orthodoxy
was quackery and charlatanism - just what they now call
Homeopathists and for the SAME WRONG REASONS -
complete inability to tolerate innovation and change
of accepted medical paradigms.
