From: "M" not_me_hereagain on 5 Aug 2008 14:16 10 days ago I had a wisdom tooth and cyst removed in hospital and so far the worst part of the experience has been with the dissolvable stitches. After 10 days I still have five stitches in my mouth that I agree are working loose but not loose enough to seperate fully from the gum. These stitches feel abrasive to my tongue and I am wondering if these stitches always come out on their own accord. I have a follow up appointment with the consultant next week and I wondered if their is anything meanwhile I can take orally that will speed up the dissolving process. Thanks. M
