Hi,

I have been diagnosed with ventrcular hypertrophy, dilated aortic root,
trace mitral reguritation, and mitral valve excursion anterior leaflet of
1.5, left ventricular shortening of 56%. The diagnosis was made from an
echocardiagram examination.

Can anybody tell me how serious all of this is and what the next step is
that my doctors and I should take at this point?

I am 51, not overweight, and a non-smoker. I suffer from severe hypertension
and asthma. I take HBP medications daily, 20mg..

Any information and/or advice would be helpful.

Thanks,

KM
