Anyone Use Lantus? The peaks with NPH are a pain, my Rx plan now covers all insulins, so I'm thinking of switching from NPH to Lantus, but I will want to use the pen. Where do you get a pen? Falafil Does anyone here eat this? I had never tried it and had avoided it, assuming it was very high in carbs. But I bought some prepackaged stuff made by a local restaurant here and according to the package, it has 237 calories, 7g fat, 18g carb, 1g fiber and 13g protein per 8 oz. serving. Question on a work/social situation Ok, good people, here's a weird question for you. At work, we have monthly "eating meetings". Fungus--my opinion Diabetics are very prone to Fungus and yeast infections. Our mode of living contributes to the problem. I was plagued with big time problems for years.
