OCT & retinal exam today: mostly good news.
I had my second recent OCT scan and retinal exam today, plus a long chat with the Ophthalmologist. In brief, my retinopathy seems to be receding quickly. Beginning of diabetic retinopathy
I had my diabetic eye test last week, and was told that I have a very small hematoma in one eye. I asked the significance of that and was told that it represents the beginning of diabetic retinopathy and that I probably would need laser treatment in a few years. He asked my A1C, and I told him my latest score (6.... 11 Mar 2006 17:51
