Eye injections I had a steroid eye injection this afternoon,it is now 4am in the morning and it still feels paInful.Feels like a big piece of sand in my eye.Can't sleep.Doctor said there would be 2 more shots.This is for a swollen retina.Is this the norm,or can I Iake an oral medicine instead.Can't see going through this 2 mor... 27 Jul 2006 18:04

Xylitol May I suggest a sweetener less known, called Xylitol? It's available at health stores. It tastes like sugar, cooks like sugar, and has been shown to not affect blood sugar levels, and has been shown to actually aid in preventing tooth decay and gum disease. I use it a lot.
