From: Kenny on 23 Oct 2007 11:17 I cannot bare to see my Mon suffer. Both of her kidneys fail a couple of years ago because of PKD.During that time she also got lymphoma.and this caused whatever little function the kidneys had left to be destroyed by chemo, now she has to go 3days per week for dialysis. Both of her feet are swollen and she is constantly in pain. She has suffered so much.Recently she had an aneurysm and they open her skull and put two clamps in her head. But she survived through all of this because her will to live and not to give up.I am hoping and praying that we could find donor very soon. The Dr.told us we cannot donate our kidneys because we will have to be tested for PKD since our Mon has it.I would have been the first one in line to give her mines but it is not possible.
