Children don't get Periodontal disease. WHY? Because P.D. doesn't follow Koch's postulates. Any bacteria infection that causes disease in children will cause disease in adults. And any bacteria infection in adults will cause the same infection in children. Koch's postulates makes no distinctions between children diseases and adult diseases.
