Dental Implant help needed My first molar on my bottom right jaw is loose and also has an infection (currently taking antibiotics). I had a root canal done to this tooth over 10 years ago. Last week, I went to 2 periodontists to get their opinions. Here is what they told me: Periodontist #1: He said I have gum disease and require scal... 12 Dec 2005 10:25
Porcelain crown removal Hi, I just had a new porcelain crown installed (tooth #10) After it's permenantly cemented I noticed that the tooth is significantly shorter than its symmetrical counterpart, creating a visible gap between the upper and lower teeth, so of course I want it redone. Is there a risk-free way of removing a permenantl... 13 Dec 2005 16:33
Crater Tooth Needs to be Pulled - How? My Molar (the last tooth next to removed wisdom) was through a gum lengthening and route canal and fianlly capped 5 years ago. Now the cap is popping off and my dentist says there is some bone loss uner the tooth. When the cap is off and the tooth is exposed, there lies what looks like a crater of a tooth nicely su... 19 Dec 2005 13:10

Biopsy did not include any normal bone/tissue so it is assumed that excision did not get back to "good" bone. Why Sue is interested in Dentistry Someone asked why I cross-posted a question by "ClaireC." Because I care about patients that pay lots of money to undergo elective cosmetic dental procedures when they do not understand the risks. Many have no idea that these procedures are NOT without risk. Many dentists do not properly inform patients. Some ... 13 Dec 2005 10:05
Three Magic Bullets http://www.8.co.nz/hospitaldentistry/papers/Three_Magic_Bullets.htm Greetings, lesser mortals. Now that youse know who youse are, I saw this doing a Goooooooogle search for *Pressure Pots, Dental*. Thanx for Proof Seeing the inane answers to my serious question, only proves all the worst cliches about dentists--that you folks are too insecure and stupid to become doctors and that most of you hate being dentists. Only one person gave a half-hearted half-decent answer (that it could be a sinus perforation but probably has he... 13 Dec 2005 10:05 |
