How to self treat abscess for 2 months
What medicine would be best for a gum/root canal abscess to keep it quiet for 3 months. I've used Keflex (500mg, 4x day, 10 days) with good results. Abscess went away for 3 months. PenVeeK (250mg, 4x day)was used for 7 days with not great results (slow healing, abscess came back). My dentist insists on doing a r... 30 Oct 2005 03:34
More Dumb Questions: Do Root Canals Go Bad?
Do root canals go bad, fail, need to be redone, go off or what ever the right term is? Would having the tip of the canal not being filled with the canal filling material cause problems? Would a tooth with a bad root canal hurt like hell for a day or so and then stop hurting? I am aware that it would be best ... 14 Oct 2005 09:55

Any Alternative to Partial Dentures.
I went to the dentist on 10/10/05 because I hate my partial denture. It feels like someone shoved a 1957 Buick Roadmaster up my mouth. http://classiccars.republika.pl/57_Buick_Roadmaster.jpg I cannot chew comfortably with it. And swallowing makes me afraid I will gag. The dentist said because of the shape o... 14 Oct 2005 07:17
apicoectomy
Hi, I had root canal done by a dentist about 2 months ago (the second time; the first time was 3 months ago), but I continue to have sensitivity on that tooth. Now, the gum around that tooth is swollen with infection. My dentist referred me to see a endodontist who is recommending apicoectomy. According to my de... 12 Oct 2005 14:30
Pain after root canal?
I had a root canal done on a tooth that was causing me pain. The procedure itself was fairly painless (started throbbing towards the end) but I still have pain when chewing with that tooth (upper middle molar). Is this considered "normal"? Just for some background, the dentist did RCT, core buildup (whatever tha... 7 Oct 2005 20:58
I have a lesion on the inside of my cheek.
Hey everybody. I am an 18 year old male from California. I have one question only really. About 7 months ago, my dentist found a lesion on the inside of my left cheek. It is about the size of a tiny pea, and has a greyish, sometimes whitish coloring to it. Most of the time it looks as if there is a whitish circl... 12 Oct 2005 11:51
Prescription Question
Hi All, First time poster here with somewhat of a problem with the prescription my dentist is giving me. About 2 years ago I had alot dental work done in a short amount of time, and I needed it as I hadn't been to a dentist at that time in about 15 years.
