I am trying to understand what I am going through on a total level.
For example; right now my head and body are "singing electric" -- from
Harlan Ellison's Short Story "I Sing the Body Electric", why, I don't
know but I know that my sinus are giving me a headache and more than
likely my BP is very high (something like 150/110 has been my
experience). I will take my BP in the morning but right now I am
resisting the urge because I don't want to feed the beast.

Heart Conditions:
If you have ever had a Heart Attack that is by definition a panic
attack, that is, all the symptoms of heart attack are symptoms of a
panic attack.
Rapid Heart Beat is another concern, for example, if you want to have a
panic attack for some strange reason, take alot of pottasium -- I've
done this by accident and the only cure is water and time. Perhaps you
need to watch the amount of potassium you ingest.
A Heart Arrythmia, skipped beats or flutters can cause anxiety.
And a link between High Blood Pressure is also just recently been found
according to an article in my hospitals newsletter.

The cures for these short of the Emergency Ward (200/110 for BP is an
emergency unless your doctor tells you otherwise. If the symptoms of a
Heart Attack persist go to emergency.

Walking will help Rapid Heart Beart followed by rest. Meditaion and
Regular breathing help HBP, arythimias if common you need medicince
like propanolol.

Nerves
You may simply have oversensity nerves, like somone with autism in
extreme cases
Neuropathy may cause all sort of feelings having to do with anxiety,
certain back nerve injuries can cause a constant throbbing driving one
to distration. Walking oftens help reduce the pain or at least take my
mind of it.

Now please note: when anxiety is caused by physical problems this still
creates thoughts of anxiety and these do have to be dealt with.

Mental causes I will try to put into another news letter.

there is a difference between anxiety and panic disorder

anxiety "caused by physical problems" like a backache is normal. you can
chose whether to be anxious about an ache or pain

panic attacks are a chemical imbalance in the brain caused by random
firing of neurons. which provoke a flight or fight response. the person
has no control over these responses.
