I know it is some type of yeast problem, but I am having trouble seprating out the quackery from the real info about it. Can someome tell me more about it, if I need to get tests for it, etc.? From: f u z on 11 Feb 2005 16:55 Thats what they all say, but if you seek the opinion of an alternative doctor, they'll tell you that candida can occur in people have taken antibiotics, have thyroid problems, etc If you want to get treated for candida, best to go to a nutritionist or someone who knows how to treat it. You can get tests done like a blood test, stool test or you can just try the anti-candida diet to see if its helps. It happens to me when my sugar levels get a tad high (diabetes II), plus it also can occur from excess anti-biotics.
