Next: Tibialis Posterior dysfunction 'cured' by use of a lower leg brace?
From: alvinstraight38 on 16 Dec 2007 11:29 A week ago, I was simply getting out of my car, and immediately discovered that I could not bend over without severe back pain. Ever since then, my symptoms have never been constant. The pain would go away at night, but my back would be so stiff and hurting when I woke up that I could barely move. After a few days, I started feeling discomfort in my groin area. Now it is almost as bad as the back pain. It hits me when I am trying to rise from a laying position on the bed. I strongly suspect that my problem is a herniated disc, but I thought this condition would just cause numbness, not real muscular type pain. Also, I thought a herniated disc should improve with rest and laying down, but my pain gets much worse in this position. I only find relief by relaxing in a recliner. |
