Wow!

We had a nioce day without rain!!

A first in so long I can not remember.

The entire province issioaked, flooded badly in many areas, as are some
ities in other provinces as well. Thank Goodness, so far so good: if all
is soaked more than wet, as soaked as a sponge can be, no floods taking
away roads, huses nr people have been reported in the area in the last
month I think. We had some just before that, where landslides made it so
they ahd to evacuate some people but in a far away sector from mine.

Tis very street is yet known for floods due to city sewers not sufficing
and backing into people,s houses. However, they just did repairs this
year, and I think it actually saved our skin! Crossing fingers real tight,
as I surely do not need one more basemet flooding due to city pipes!!

Circumstances now make it so that I have to use all my spare time,
evenigns all I can and weekend all I can, to move things out of the
basement to make room, havgn to go fetch what I have in storage. A pain in
the *** for how it falls, bad bad toming if ever, but....It will force me
to move it even faster (if I even can!! Not strgn at all, with Graves
calming down and at times still epaking, but making me costantly feel
sleepy, and slow, airhead brain:(...--But...The ay I wikll buy a house, it
will be this much elss to orry about moving and sorting. Might as well try
and think fo somethign constructive aout it, because there is no two ote
ways about it: it has to be doen before September, sicne major repairs
need done where t is nw stored ( farm building, a partents, farm, where
the rais and heavy snow last winter made huge beams collapse thatneed
replaced, and need the place empty for workers to install scaffolds and
the works...).

Bad timign too becausse I so ws stretching my pennies to try and put aside
all I coudl to face driving licenses in september, plus urgent muffler
repirs plus badly needed tires, where the summer oens are done, but where
I hoped and prayed that by only using the car for necessities, i.e. as
little as possible, I then might stretch it to wnter tires, since a new
law now will require we all have *4* wionter tires on our cars in winter.
Gven hwo bad our roads are, and tha the will make it be fom a date in
October to a date in March, probably end of March, because f ever we have
as little snow as two eyars ago, we will all contribute to making our
roads collaspe in no time, asphalt desintegrating everywhere alrteady an
flyign all over the lace with regular tires!! We had two that died near y
place, on the very short freeway dstance I do each day to get to work, due
to pieces of pavement flying through their wondhield and killing them:(,
asphalt lifted from the tires of some vehicle ahead of them. Just hope to
God it never was mine!!

S that means four new tires for winter and a new muffler....IF it all
can wait until then!!
But travelling to the farm and back a few tiems each weekend ads mileage
to the tires and mufler:(, on top of costing a fortune in gas, where then
it will be that much harder to put aside, ad might make the muffler and
tires be needed before October then, i.e. forcing me to buy summer tires
before the end of october, then 4 winter tures. I had just bought two four
seasons, hopign to get two more this eyar, and now am stuck with two four
seasons, and four nearly bald summer tires....SIGH, in the end! They
shudlw anr people abut those thngs at least a full eyar ahgead of time or
even two, so they do not go and buy stuff that will pollute the planet for
bno longer being needed, on top of demanding they buy more of those
nvironent hasards that tires are..just to dammage the bad roads further
and see overpasses fal on us our the next one...

I was off today, working in Ontario, if I live in Quebec, where it as
Ontario day. A three day weekend...
Next is only Labour day, for us the forstMonda after Sept 1st.
Dunno yet what date that falls on. But this anyway means I will no longer
see summe,r havign to work on soprtign warehoused things. Allneeds sorted
and put in new boxes before it is brought here given the possibility of
fungus with the roof of the farm building having collasped partially, but
on my stuff, and with the possibility f mce beigniont he old boxes also
requiring I sort and check it ut and so n *before* I ge any of it in this
house.

Loads of fun. Secially with the health. The last thing I need ios to go
breatfungus right now....But what can one do....

Oh well....

Tored and sore tender lower back this weekend. Worked on trnaspottign
plants, had no chjoice. It rained so so hard here (places had 141 cm of
rain in one fall! Rain fell apparently at 33 cm per ten minutes! AND it
had rained each day, often ehavily, since spring, and we had tons of snow
this winter, a record, where that all makes the sopl be oversaturated. But
even my potted plants outdoors were so soaked they woudl have ied. No two
ways about it., So par of my weekend I ahd to spend on that makign the
basement sorting (else I have no room to put the stuff at warehouse) be
postpned soem more:(....
Then I did some more Sunday, and did clear counter and sink and rinse
dishes and put it in dishwasher, but was too hot ad humid to start it
eyserday....

I swept floors like 3 time,s before I coudl get to washing them. Soil from
garden and all mking it necessary that many times in the day before I
coudl get to wash them. By then it was too late abnd passd beddy bed time.
So wsqhed floors today, throoughly as was badly needed: wen that much rain
and humidity place tedns tow ant to try and build fungus,. so I need to
bleach it up to rpevent.

Done on forst floor, all over. Wth all the sorting boxes ont he main
floor, it is quite hard work and hard on a sore back, to move boxes back
and fporth and to swing the darn mop around and rinse and start again...

But it is done, and glad it is!! It was due, andI feared I coudl not gt to
it on time. All seems fine though.

Laundry underway for brds blankets. Much more of those to wash twice:
b;ach then rinse thoroughly each time. Then the rags I use for Blemai,s
nest make-believe, each day and night....Then my own clthes for work.
Puff, pant, puff...

I now have the aquarium giant filter to clean, a definite MUST if it is
the lat thig I ever do! Badly needed, been wantng to ge at it last weekend
and never could. Was caighng so bad, as so darn sik and yet felt liek t
contributed t i, and yet again, could not get to it caughing too much!
Vicious cycle. By now, I cough less, just less enough: t get t it, and
hopefully I will get bnetter after it is dne and nto worse for washing the
guk out.

After that, too bad: will have tons of laundry left to d, wit dryer
working and heatign up the place some more with humidity, and the
dioshwashjer after that, in thelate evenin or night, so....
After the laundry is doen and over with and the dishwasher is started,
that will be it.

In the meantime, the aquariu filter, then doing laundry as I try and
breath wathing tv between loads of laundry and clothes to fold to try and
give the body and back a break so as to eb able to d sortign int he
basement and lift boxes and carry tons of stuff to the dan garbage nbin,
which happens to be so fra from my garden home, it is liek 14 mile, my
unti beign the outrthest from it:(....Justwhat a woman with a bad back
needs:(.
Forehead dripp8ng with sweat as it still si hot and humid upsairs. As
evenign falls, humidity for soem reason always gets in at full blast in
this house.

Gawd., I just felt the drops f sweat een falling down my tibias! magien
that...So scuze me if I talk voring house cleaning tasks, but....In this
humid hot house, it is an achievement, really....
Wish I ahd two more days to thsi weekend:(....

Take care all and enjoy summer for me!!
Hopefully my second to alst one in this danr house, before I buy a house
of my won, if we donlt all enter a worlwide crisislike the en they ahd in
29...

Nighty night!
Chloe (going to sw4eat downstairs where it is cooler and elss humid).
Shower will sure feel nice this evening!!!!
