From: indomitable2 on 9 Dec 2007 00:06 Seems citizens of other nations are noting that their psychological experts are doing the same thing to the citizenry of their country which Koochers Killers and K00KS have been doing to the American public. It's hardly surprising people are worried Published on 05/12/2007 http://www.nwemail.co.uk/news/viewarticle.aspx?id=571095 CONCERN and even alarm by Cumbria police on the prospect of the emergence of vigilante groups, vengeance squads, gang cultures, protection rackets etc, and what that implies, for our assumptions of democracy. Is this really surprising? From the viewpoint of those of us at the sharp end, the long-suffering British public, it is not! The current attitude of those we rely on for our protection does not inspire confidence. Cynical manipulation and deception by politicians meddling in the administration and execution of the law, compromising public safety. For example, serious crimes of extreme violence are trivialised and often ignored, while minor crime is pursued with vigour to make figures look good in order to fool us into deluding ourselves into believing things aren't so bad after all! What of the police? Contrary to what we are supposed to believe, with the exception of some policemen brave enough to use discretion, no comfort there! Insane bureaucracy, staff cuts, poor recruitment selection, politically correct dogma enforcement, cost-cutting, to the point of imperilling public safety. Politicians with dubious motives advised by tame experts of doubtful moral integrity. It's hardly surprising people are worried! The criminally insane, psychopaths, paedophiles and all sorts of evil malcontents are anonymously released to reduce jail numbers, back into society on the advice of these experts, who have about as much concern for public safety as Darth Vader with a data computer bank! There's no such thing as society, words uttered by one Prime Minister in the 1980s have been found wanting in the opinions of many today. It's no wonder many people are now eager for the return of that great martinet of public morals and safety, Madame Birch! JAMES YOUNG |
