I don't park too close to the store. I park at a fair distance. I don't like my car getting dings or scratches, and I don't mind the walk from the car to the store. Its exercise. From: Gloria Wolfe on 10 Sep 2008 01:00 As close as I can get! I have a handicapped card, so I can use that when available. If we ever get a spankin' new car, then I'll be a little more careful where I park. Half of the folks around here really shouldn't be driving. Oh, and we're starting to see the influx of the snowbirds and those folks have no idea where they're going. They'll just stop in the middle of the road or in a parking lot and get out their map, effectively blocking any other traffic. It's so frustrating. kili -- ========== Please DELETE this text block when replying! ========== Contact the moderators at: asapm-board(a)stump.algebra.com The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm ========= This notice is added to each approved article ==========

It's so frustrating. Oh dear. I think I'm a snowbird, but don't have a place in Florida and dont drive when in Florida so I'm not a real snowbird :) Most people I know here who drive to Florida have a place down there so know where they are going. If you're in a retirement community, you probably get a lot of snowbirds as lots of them have mobile homes in Tampa/Clearwater area. Most I know who live here, have places in Clearwater or St. Petes area. Snowbirds (or anybody else) who get lost should know that they can't stop in the middle of a road or block other traffic. They should know better, no matter what country they are in.
