Prior to CPAP, you were tossing and turning in your sleep and this kept the inflamation at bay. Do you find that the pain subsides after you have been up an moving around? I had the same experience! Talk to your GP about this. In the meantime, if you can take aspirin, try the enteric(coasted) ASA (I buy the generic at about half price) in the dosage for arthritis. Regards Lee in Toronto

Take at 11 pm, go to bed, get up at 7 and it should carry you through until you are up and running. Works for me. Regards Lee in Toronto

Perhaps an alternative, like Tylenol, would be better? Other possible causes: poor/worn mattress, or less likely, night seizures - or as one poster suggested, not moving as much at night due to better sleep with CPAP use.
