Champagne 3/?/05-7/13/05 From PreciHOWES, The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dog <{); ~ ) > HOWEDY People, The Amazing Puppy Wizard's neighbor just ran over his puppy in his own yard, movin a junk vehicle arHOWEND. NO PROBLEMO. This pup lasted TWICE as long as his last dog done... HOWEver, over the past couple weeks The Amazing Puppy Wizard and HIS dog had been makin pals with Champagne as WE called him. When WE discovered the DEAD puppy, The Amazing Puppy Wizard and HIS dog scented him from maybe 12' away from the fence where his body was lyin, despite the 5mph breeze comin from behind US. The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dog started actin concerned, then barked a couple times, evidently tryin to engage him in a game of chase along the fence as they'd been enjoyin. "He's DEAD, PreciHOWES. Champagne AIN'T NO MOORE." Later that nite, there was a EEIRE S-HOWEND comin from The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dog as she slept. It S-HOWENDED LIKE CRYIN <{); ~ ) >. Of curse, most dogs kick their feet and whimper a little pretty often in their sleep, BUT THAT AIN'T NORMAL, despite that it SEEMS NORMAL as MOST DOGS (under STRESS) do that. The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dogs ALMOST NEVER demonstrate those SYMPTOMS of ANXXXIHOWESNESS, so the ONLY logical EXXXPLAINATION is HIS Dog was CRYING for the loss of her little pal next door <{); ~ ) > So NHOWE, every time we go HOWET we TALK abHOWET Champagne and all the FUN TIMES WE had chasin each other and snugglin through the fence, and we talk abHOWET him throuHOWET the day and nite. It'll be very interesting to note if The Amazing Puppy Wizard's dog GRIEVES her loss NHOWE that WE have RECOGNIZED and ADDRESSED the situation. Champagne 3/?/05 - 7/13/05 From PreciHOWES, The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dog <{); ~ ) > HOWEDY People, An interesting development has been happening over the past six days since Champagne bought the farm <{): ~ ( > The Amazing Puppy Wizard's Dog has begun doin an OCD behavior as she runs HOWET the door, evidently as a result of CONFLICT EXXXPECTING her pal to greet her, yet KNOWING he's DEAD. She's begun bolting HOWET the door to rush to see him, something she'd had done ONLY IF she saw Champagne settin HOWET there <{): ~ ( > Often he'd lay there and BARK for her to come HOWET... and he'd often laid in wait knowing her habits, to meet her after dinner for a few minutes playtime. The OCD is NOT a problem as WE KNOW we can EXXXTINGUISH it in just a couple of repetitions. HOWEver, it IS curiHOWES enough The Amazing Puppy Wizard thought HE'D LIKE to share it with HIS pals, just in case they might run across a similar habit. When the door opens she BOLT FASTER than she'd had EVER done, but goes ONLY abHOWET 8 feet and quickly drops into like a "flea scratching" frenzy but only for maybe five seconds, always the same spot on the grHOWEND and on her body (right shoulder), then BOLTS AGAIN goin maybe twice that distance and REPEATS the "flea scratching" behavior, for abHOWET five seconds. Not a BIG DEAL, HOWEver as with ALL BEHAVIOR problems it's BHOWEND to GET WORSE if IGNORED. Over the past couple days the behavior has INTENSIFIED, but not so's you'd REALLY NOTICE, it's VERY SUBTLE, but seems to be almost working up to a kind of head shake, almost a "flashing" just back and forth and ONLY A LITTLE, AFTER she finishes or just pryor, accompanied a couple times with a spin arHOWEND, and sometimes she didn't scratch, just did the head flashin and circled or maybe did a half circle, it's VERY SUBTLE, kinda like a twinge from a mild shock might make your muscle twitch <{); ~ ) > Additionally, the scratching behaviors have been occuring when she approaches those two spots from other directions than from bolthing thru the door and THOSE TIMES, it SEEMS to maybe CONfHOWEND her a little, as it SEEMS she CAN'T FIGGER HOWET HOWE COME she gets "TRAPPED" in that position for "no reason" whereas when she does it from the door she's too absorbed in it to notice sumpthin odd. If this mourning behavior wasn't SO SAD it'd be hilariHOWES <{): ~ ( > R.I.P. Champagne. The Amazing Puppy Wizard <{); ~ ) >
